据知情人士透露，伊朗已向地区调解方表示将于周二向伊斯兰堡派出谈判团队。但德黑兰方面尚未公开确认将派遣代表，而外交部发言人埃斯马伊勒·巴盖伊周一表示暂无在巴基斯坦首都举行第二轮谈判的计划，使得局势更加扑朔迷离。
伊朗驻巴基斯坦大使礼萨·阿米里·穆加达姆在社交媒体平台X上表态称，谈判不能在威胁或胁迫下进行。穆加达姆强调："这是一个举世公认的真理：拥有伟大文明的国家绝不会在威胁和武力压迫下进行谈判。"
