On Wednesday, the three major US stock indices closed collectively higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also advanced, rising 343.53 points or 1.31% on a proportional basis to close at 26,557.31 points compared to its Hong Kong market close. Most major blue-chip stocks recorded gains. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 143.234, up 1.95% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings closed at HKD 476.402, increasing 2.89% from its Hong Kong market close.
