China Eastern Airlines to Divest 49% Stake in Supply Chain Unit for 199.8 Million Yuan

China Eastern Airlines (00670) has announced that on February 9, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary, China Eastern Import & Export, entered into a transfer agreement with China Eastern Air Logistics. Under the agreement, China Eastern Import & Export will transfer its 49% equity stake in China Eastern Supply Chain to China Eastern Air Logistics for approximately 199.8 million yuan. This equity transfer is intended to help the company focus on its core aviation operations. Following the transaction, China Eastern Supply Chain will become a fully-owned subsidiary of China Eastern Air Logistics. The company plans to leverage the strengths of China Eastern Air Logistics in the transportation and management of aviation materials supply chains, thereby providing more efficient and higher-quality supply chain management and logistics support services for its operations.
