Theme: Cheers for the Chinese Economy - 2025 Entrepreneurs' Night Gala The "Cheers for the Chinese Economy - Entrepreneurs' Night" event was held in Beijing on January 29th. Wu Xiangdong, Chairman of ZJLD Group and of Huazhi Jiuxing, attended to accept a tribute. Zhang Yuliang, Chairman and President of Greenland Group; Zhou Yanlong, Party Committee Secretary, Director, and General Manager of Quanjude Group; and Kim Won-soo, former United Nations Under-Secretary-General, witnessed this honor for him.

Tribute Citation: He is a practitioner who fuses the spirit of traditional brewing with modern commercial wisdom, consistently dedicated to advancing the development of China's liquor industry. Amidst a period of profound adjustment within the sector, he has adhered to a "long-termism" philosophy, launching strategic products like "Da Zhen · Zhenjiu" and "Bull Market Beer," thereby pioneering a novel business model. Furthermore, through his hands-on leadership, he has cultivated a super IP that stands out prominently among industry peers. His actions demonstrate that in this era obsessed with speed, the most enduring and valuable competitiveness lies in patiently refining quality. Kim Won-soo recalled his visit to ZJLD a year ago, stating that Zhenjiu's brewing techniques are unique, its management is scientific and standardized, and its production capacity is immense. This cup of liquor, he remarked, is a masterpiece born from craftsmanship, technology, and nature working in harmony. Zhang Yuliang expressed his hope that ZJLD would continue to provide more high-quality products and services for the nation, the baijiu industry, and consumers in the future, regardless of facing challenges or fair weather. Zhou Yanlong stated that as representatives of the real economy, and specifically of the traditional service sector within it, they should work together to earn more appreciation from consumers and media for the real economy and for the Chinese economy. He expressed belief that under new consumption models, they are certain to have a brighter future. In his acceptance speech, Wu Xiangdong expressed his hope that Chinese national products can continue to thrive, not only deepening their roots in China but also stepping onto the international stage. "I hope people from more countries will come to like our baijiu," Wu Xiangdong said.

The following is a transcript of the speeches: Kim Won-soo: Good evening, everyone! I am delighted to be invited to witness this honorable moment for Chairman Wu Xiangdong. Speaking of which, my acquaintance with Zhenjiu goes back a while. As early as about a year ago, I visited the distillery and was left with a very deep impression. It was my first time visiting a Chinese baijiu brewing workshop and gaining an in-depth understanding of the brewing process. The unique brewing techniques, scientific and standardized management, and the massive scale of production capacity at Zhenjiu were all astonishing to me. It can be said that this cup of liquor is a masterpiece crafted from the synergy of artisan spirit, technology, and nature. Host Li Xiang: Mr. Kim visited ZJLD for the first time last year and was very impressed, both by its management and its influence and status in China. He would like to congratulate Mr. Wu once again. Zhang Yuliang: I pay tribute to Chairman Wu, my respects to you. This moment is the happiest and most joyful for an entrepreneur; it is a very fortunate and beautiful moment for a business leader, and I salute you. At the same time, I also extend my wishes for your future and your enterprise. May you continue to provide more high-quality products and services for the country, for your industry, for our consumers, and for our clients in the future, whether through storms or sunshine. Congratulations, and thank you all! Zhou Yanlong: The organizers have been very thoughtful in arranging for me to be your witness. I am from Quanjude Group, responsible for food, while Chairman Wu is responsible for drink. With food and drink together, life is beautiful. I believe all distinguished guests here tonight will enjoy a wonderful evening accompanied by fine food and fine wine. I also want to take this opportunity to say to Chairman Wu that as representatives of the real economy, even representatives of the traditional service sector within the real economy, let us work hard together to win more consumers and more media to applaud our real economy and to applaud the Chinese economy. I believe that under the new consumption models of the future, we will undoubtedly have a better tomorrow. Host Li Xiang: Thank you to the witnessing guests. Next is the tribute moment. Please invite all guests to the center of the stage for a group photo. Following that is the appreciation moment. Thank you, witnessing guests, please return to your seats. Next up is the honor moment. Thank you once again to our three distinguished guests of honor. Now, Mr. Wu, please step forward. This is your own moment of honor; please look ahead. Let's have a chat with Mr. Wu. First, a question: especially in our media industry, with many young people constantly joining, we notice that young people nowadays often don't drink baijiu at gatherings. How do you attract young consumers into your commercial ecosystem? Wu Xiangdong: My advice to young people is, first, it's best not to drink baijiu initially. I hope your first taste of alcohol is dedicated to beer or wine. Baijiu is a product refined over thousands of years; it's a distilled spirit, a strong liquor. It's like a spirited horse, but it's also the 'Han-blooded宝马' of China. So, I hope that after young people reach their thirties, and after they've learned to drink beer and wine, they can then come to appreciate our Chinese national treasure, baijiu. Host Li Xiang: Have some staple food first to line the stomach, then the main course comes later. That's how life is. Having received this honor today at our Entrepreneurs' Night, what feelings would you like to share with everyone? Wu Xiangdong: I am very grateful to SINA Finance for allowing someone from a traditional industry like me, who has struggled for almost 40 years, to step onto this podium. I am a bit emotional. I was just envious of Pony.ai; they made it to the podium after only ten years, while it took me a full forty years. Frankly, to handle liquor, one must have a certain capacity for it. My own drinking capacity isn't great, but for the sake of our ZJLD, I have persevered for nearly forty years. I am almost sixty years old now. I hope that Chinese national products can continue their journey forward, not only deepening their cultivation within China but also stepping onto the international stage. Just now, the Ambassador and leaders from South Korea... I know that currently, one-fifth of our exported baijiu is sold to South Korea. So, I hope that people from more countries will come to like our baijiu.
