U.S.-listed shares of precious metal miners fell as gold, silver prices eased on stronger dollar, US-China trade deal hopes.
Gold stocks fell in Monday trading as spot gold fell 2.3% to $4,018/Oz. Gold Fields, Gold Resources fell 6%; Newmont fell 5%; Harmony Gold, U.S. Gold, Coeur Mining fell 4%.
Silver stocks fell in Monday trading as spot silver fell 3% to $47.08/Oz. First Majestic Silver and Silvercorp Metals fell 4%; Pan American Silver fell 3%.
