Carrier Global Corporation's stock experienced a sharp pre-market decline of 7.22% following the release of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results and 2026 outlook, which fell short of analyst expectations.
The company reported quarterly adjusted earnings per share of $0.34, missing the consensus estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter was $4.837 billion, below the expected $4.999 billion. Adjusted operating income also came in at $455 million, significantly lower than the $532.6 million estimate.
The disappointing results were attributed to weaker residential end-markets and distributor destocking in the Americas region. Furthermore, the company issued soft guidance for 2026, projecting adjusted earnings per share of approximately $2.80 and sales of about $22 billion, both below analyst estimates of $2.87 and $22.48 billion, respectively.
