周二，该公司宣布将云计算和数据管理业务出售给Performive——一家由私募股权公司Renovus Capital Partners支持的云服务提供商。这笔交易仍需股东批准。
出售完成后，Data Storage Corp. 将专注于自身业务发展。公司计划利用交易收益及现有现金储备，发起要约回购高达85%的流通股。剩余资金将用于收购扩张，目标领域包括人工智能驱动的软件即服务（SaaS）和医疗自动化。
首席执行官Chuck Piluso表示：“尽管我们坚信CloudFirst的基本面和长期潜力，但公开市场未能充分体现其价值。”他强调，此举旨在为股东创造更高回报。
总部位于纽约州Melville的Data Storage Corp. 将保留上市地位，并继续运营其电信业务Nexxis。
CloudFirst将维持自有品牌服务推广，领导团队保持不变。
