Midea Group Discloses Minor Equity Changes Following RMB 38.82 Million Share Buyback and Option Exercise

On 24 July 2026, Midea Group Co., Ltd. (Midea Group, stock code 00300) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return detailing simultaneous share repurchase and stock-option exercise activities that have resulted in marginal adjustments to its share capital structure.

Midea repurchased 458,900 A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange at prices ranging from RMB 84.12 to RMB 84.76 per share, for a volume-weighted average cost of RMB 84.59. The total cash outlay amounted to RMB 38.82 million. All repurchased shares were retained as treasury stock for potential future cancellation, and therefore reduced the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) by 0.0067 %.

On the same date, 362,476 new A-shares were issued upon employees’ exercise of options under the company’s Ninth Stock Option Incentive Plan at an exercise price of RMB 41.44 per share, adding approximately RMB 15.02 million in proceeds to the company and expanding the issued share base by 0.0053 %.

After accounting for both transactions, Midea’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) decreased by a net 96,424 shares, bringing the total to 6,807.85 million. Treasury shares rose to 166.94 million, and total issued shares (including treasury shares) inched up to 6,974.79 million.

The board confirmed that the transactions complied with all relevant regulatory requirements and were duly authorised. No shares were cancelled as of the disclosure date, and the repurchased shares remain in treasury.
