Three separate notifications regarding share reductions by the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund have been disclosed.
According to a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the evening of May 28, the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. reduced its long position in SMIC (HK:00981) from 8.08% to 7.99% as of May 26, 2026.
In a separate announcement, National Silicon Industry Group Co.,Ltd. (SH:688126) stated it received a notification letter from its shareholder, the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. The fund reduced its shareholding in the company by 33,050,230 shares through block trades between May 20 and May 28, 2026. Consequently, its stake decreased from 13.89% to 12.89%. The company noted this change is part of the fund's previously disclosed divestment plan, which remains ongoing.
Darbond Technology Co.,Ltd. (SH:688035) also announced receiving a formal notification from the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. regarding a reduction in shareholding crossing a 1% threshold. Between May 19 and May 28, 2026, the fund sold a total of 1,422,400 company shares. This comprised 711,200 shares sold via centralized bidding and another 711,200 shares sold via block trades. The fund's total shareholding decreased from 18,349,454 shares to 16,927,054 shares, reducing its ownership percentage from 12.90% to 11.90% of the total share capital. The company stated this transaction is part of the execution of a previously announced share reduction plan.
