PEIJIA-B shares experienced a significant rise of nearly 6% during the morning trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 2.23%, trading at HK$4.12 with a turnover of HK$4.0149 million.

The catalyst for the movement was a recent company announcement. The firm's subsidiary, Jiaqi Biotech, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with B. Braun Medical. Under the terms of this agreement, Jiaqi Biotech has secured the exclusive distribution rights for B. Braun's product, the SeQuent Please CIS Paclitaxel-Coated Intracranial Balloon Dilatation Catheter, within the Chinese mainland market.

This partnership with B. Braun is viewed as a strategic enhancement. It further diversifies the group's portfolio of neurointerventional products and strengthens its strategic positioning within the innovative intracranial intervention solutions sector.

CICC had previously commented on the company's outlook. The brokerage noted that as the commercialization of the firm's TaurusTrio anti-reflux valve gains momentum, and with several major innovative products—including the third-generation TAVR product TaurusNXT and the mitral valve edge-to-edge repair product GeminiOne—potentially receiving approval for market launch within 2026, the company's product portfolio in the structural heart disease field is expected to continue expanding. This is anticipated to further solidify the company's technological leadership and long-term competitive advantages.
