US-Ukraine Reconstruction Fund Finalizes First Critical Minerals Deal

On the 2nd local time, US officials announced that the US-Ukraine Joint Reconstruction Investment Fund has reached its first critical minerals transaction and launched four additional new projects.
According to Conor Coleman, head of investment at the US International Development Finance Corporation, the first minerals deal will inject approximately $30 million into BGV Group's "joint investment platform." The platform will initially focus on early-stage mining projects across Ukraine, targeting the extraction of rare earths, uranium, beryllium, and zirconium.
Coleman stated: These minerals are all on the US critical minerals list.
