消息面上，穆迪将美国政府的信用评级从Aaa下调至Aa1，这也意味着美国主权债务已经被三大评级机构全部剔除出“最高信用评级”行列。
瑞穗国际欧洲、中东和非洲地区宏观战略主管Jordan Rochester表示：“我不会过分强调这次评级下调的重要性，但它增加了已经存在的‘去美元化’主题。”瑞银首席投资官Mark Haefele则表示：“我们认为，最新的信贷行动是一种总体风险，而不是市场的根本转变。虽然降级可能不利于最近的一些‘好消息’势头，但我们预计它不会对金融市场产生重大的直接影响。”
