Manycore Tech Inc. today announced a key board transition effective 2 October 2026. Renowned computer-science academic Dr. Xu Weiwei, aged 50, joins the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) and will simultaneously take a seat on the Audit Committee. Dr. Xu brings more than two decades of research and teaching experience, including senior roles at Microsoft Research Asia and Zhejiang University, where he is currently a tenured “Qiushi” distinguished professor and deputy dean of the College of Computer Science and Technology.

Dr. Xu has signed a three-year appointment letter with an annual director’s fee of HK$0.24 million. He meets all independence criteria under Rule 3.13 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules and holds no shares in Manycore Tech.

Concurrently, Non-Executive Director Mr. Tan Zhiqian has resigned, citing other business commitments, and will step down from the Audit Committee on the same effective date. The board expressed gratitude for his contributions during his tenure.

Post-changes, Manycore Tech’s board comprises: • Executive Directors: Mr. Huang Xiaohuang (Chairman), Mr. Chen Hang, Mr. Zhu Hao, and Mr. Shen Bei • Non-Executive Director: Mr. Foo Ji-xun • Independent Non-Executive Directors: Ms. Chen Lianqing, Mr. Ge Ke, Mr. Yeung Kwok On, and Dr. Xu Weiwei

These adjustments align the company’s governance structure with Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements while reinforcing the Audit Committee with specialized expertise in computer science and technology.
