VIRSCEND EDU Reports Interim Profit Drop of 46.4% to 26.3 Million Yuan

VIRSCEND EDU (01565) announced its interim results for the six months ended February 28, 2026. Revenue reached approximately 602 million yuan, representing a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year. However, profit attributable to the company's owners was 26.3 million yuan, a decline of 46.4% year-on-year. Earnings per share stood at 0.9 fen, and an interim dividend of 0.5 HK cents per share was declared. The company stated that the revenue growth was primarily driven by increases in tuition fees, accommodation fees, and cafeteria operation fees, which corresponded with an overall rise in student enrollment across the group.
