Hong Kong SFC: WALNUT CAP (00905) Shows Highly Concentrated Shareholding

WALNUT CAP (00905) announced that the Securities and Futures Commission recently conducted an inquiry into the company's shareholding distribution. The inquiry results revealed that as of August 25, 2025, nineteen shareholders collectively held 147 million shares of the company, representing 13.98% of the company's issued share capital.

The inquiry results also showed that as of August 25, 2025, a total of 259 million shares of the company (representing 24.66% of issued share capital) were registered under HKSCC Nominees Limited in the Hong Kong share register, but were not held in the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS). These shares, together with the 588 million shares (representing 56.01% of issued share capital) held by the company's Chief Executive Officer, account for 94.65% of the company's issued share capital.

Therefore, only 56.2208 million shares (representing 5.35% of issued share capital) are held by other shareholders. During the period from March 31, 2025 to August 25, 2025, the company's share closing price increased by 457% from HK$0.415 on March 28, 2025 to HK$2.31 on August 25, 2025.

As of September 2, 2025, the company's share price closed at HK$2.28, representing an increase of 449% compared to the closing price of HK$0.415 on March 28, 2025.
