Standard Chartered PLC (STANCHART) reported a new reduction in its share capital following continued execution of its 2026–2027 buy-back mandate.

1. Cancellation of repurchased shares • 715,404 ordinary shares—358,042 bought on 10 Sep 2026 and 357,362 bought on 11 Sep 2026—were cancelled on 15 Sep 2026. • The cancellations lowered the company’s issued share count by 0.03 % to 2,179,638,798 shares, from 2,180,354,202 shares on 14 Sep 2026.

2. Repurchases awaiting cancellation • 353,296 shares purchased on 14 Sep 2026 at a volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of GBP 23.1359. • 353,822 shares purchased on 15 Sep 2026 at a VWAP of GBP 22.7218. • These 707,118 shares equal 0.03 % of the outstanding share capital and will be cancelled upon settlement.

3. 15 September trading details • 353,822 shares were repurchased across the London Stock Exchange and Cboe Europe (BXE and CXE) at prices ranging from GBP 22.41 to GBP 22.99, for total consideration of GBP 8.04 million.

4. Buy-back capacity and progress • Shareholders authorised the board on 7 May 2026 to repurchase up to 221.63 million shares. • Cumulative purchases since that mandate now stand at 35.03 million shares, representing 1.58 % of the share base at the time of authorisation.

All transactions were executed in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements and the domestic rules of the relevant trading venues.
