香港电讯-SS（06823）日前发布公告，董事会提请授予一项股份购回授权，最多可回购不超过公司已发行股份合订单位总数的10%。目前公司已发行股份合订单位总数为7,582,398,399个，此次授权如获批准，购回总数上限达758,239,839个。
公司方面表示，购回所需资金将从合法可动用的资金中拨付，并根据开曼群岛法律及香港上市规则进行。董事会认为，股份购回有助于提升股东回报，也可优化整体资本结构，符合公司及股东的整体最佳利益。
根据公告，股东大会将于2026年5月21日召开，审议相关购回提案。若该授权最终获批，董事会可在有效期内择机实施回购，回购完成后公司资本状况将进一步得到调整。公司亦提示，完成购回后，相关持股比例变化需符合上市规则的各项要求。
