CNGR (02579) has announced a positive profit forecast. For the period from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026, the company expects its net profit attributable to shareholders to be approximately 530 to 590 million yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 72.32% to 91.82%. During the reporting period, the company benefited from the rapid development of the global new energy market and its leading position in the battery materials sector. The combined sales volume of its battery material products, including nickel-based, cobalt-based, phosphorus-based, and sodium-based materials, reached nearly 130,000 tonnes. The battery materials business overall showed a positive trend of robust production and sales, strongly supporting the steady growth in the company's operating profit. Furthermore, the integrated competitive advantage of CNGR's "resource + material" strategy in the nickel product segment continued to become apparent. Coupled with rising prices for nickel ore and nickel products, the profitability of the company's nickel mining and smelting operations improved steadily, further driving the continuous growth of its overall profit.
