CATL Reports H1 Results: Net Profit Attributable to Parent Hits 43.284 Billion Yuan, Up 41.98% Year-on-Year

CATL (Stock Code: 03750) has released its financial results for the first half of 2026. The company reported an operating revenue of approximately 276.9166 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 54.8%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached about 43.284 billion yuan, representing a 41.98% growth from the same period last year. The basic earnings per share stood at 9.51 yuan.

According to data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, from January to June 2026, the company's market share in passenger vehicle battery installations in the domestic market was 46.7%, an increase of 5.6 percentage points year-on-year. Specifically, its share of the domestic ternary power battery installations reached 75.2%, up 4.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the company gained recognition from customers through its advanced products and high-quality services. Notably, the Kirin battery, leveraging its comprehensive advantages in high energy density, ultra-fast charging, and high safety, has become a preferred choice for high-end pure electric vehicle models. Meanwhile, the Shenxing super hybrid battery has assisted clients in launching popular extended-range and hybrid models with large battery capacity and long all-electric range.

Based on data from SNE Research, the company's overseas market share from January to May 2026 was 33.7%, an increase of 3.7 percentage points year-on-year. As the company's overseas base construction and operations mature, it continues to support overseas clients such as VW, Stellantis, BMW, DMG, Volvo, and Toyota, helping them achieve notable market performance with leading products and premium services.

Furthermore, the company is steadily advancing its overseas service network and capability building. During the reporting period, its professional service stations expanded to cover eight new countries in Eastern Europe, Africa, and South Asia, while also launching overseas experience centers in Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. Adhering to the concept of "open and win-win cooperation," CATL is promoting ecological co-building and collaborative success with global system integrators, investors, developers, power grid companies, EPC contractors, and core supply chain partners.

In the domestic market, the company signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Hyperstrong for sodium-ion battery energy storage, with a total scale of 60 GWh, driving the industrialization of sodium batteries to a new inflection point. Additionally, CATL partnered with supply chain enterprises to deliver a 2 GWh single large-scale independent energy storage project, setting a benchmark for grid-side projects. In overseas markets, the company won multiple energy storage system integration projects in countries including Germany, Spain, Chile, Malaysia, and Australia. Among these, European projects cover black start application scenarios, supporting local grid security through the deployment of large-scale integrated energy storage systems.
