Eutelsat announced on Wednesday that it has obtained approximately €1 billion ($1.2 billion) in export credit financing to fund the procurement of low Earth orbit satellites for its subsidiary, OneWeb. The company stated that the financing, guaranteed by the French government, will support a contract with Airbus for the purchase of 340 satellites. The finalization of the funding is contingent upon meeting several conditions, including the issuance of bonds by Eutelsat.
