WG ENV TECH (01845) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group recorded revenue of RMB 80.709 million, representing a 10.66% year-on-year decrease. Loss attributable to owners of the company for the period was RMB 7.341 million, an increase of 39.38% compared to the same period last year. Basic loss per share was 0.551 cents.

According to the announcement, the revenue decrease was primarily due to reduced income from oilfield peripheral services and hazardous waste incineration disposal solutions. Generally, most of the group's revenue comes from providing hazardous waste incineration disposal solutions and oilfield peripheral services, with remaining revenue from cement rotary kiln co-processing services and other services including technology upgrades, maintenance services, and anaerobic pyrolysis treatment solutions for solid waste.

Revenue from hazardous waste incineration disposal solutions decreased 38.5% to RMB 11 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, from RMB 17.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024. This decrease was mainly attributable to market saturation, declining demand, and intense competition.

Revenue from oilfield peripheral services decreased 9.5% to RMB 48.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, from RMB 53.5 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The decrease was due to reduced demand for petroleum market services.

Revenue from cement rotary kiln co-processing services increased 48.0% to RMB 18.2 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, from RMB 12.3 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024, primarily driven by operations of the Yunfu and Maoming projects.

Revenue from oil sludge thermal desorption disposal services decreased 93.2% to RMB 0.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, from RMB 5.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024, mainly due to the temporary suspension of operations for renovation of the Xinjiang Karamay project.

Revenue from other services increased 250.0% to RMB 2.8 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, from RMB 0.8 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The increase was mainly attributable to increased demand from clients for technology upgrade and technical maintenance services during the six months ended June 30, 2025.
