辽港股份5月6日晚间发布公告，就公众持股比例不足的问题作出最新说明。公司称，截至公告日，其在香港联交所上市并由公众持有的H股市值约7.82亿港元，占公司已发行H股（不含库存股）总数的3.67%，仍未达到上市规则第19A.28B(2)条规定的最低公众持股比例要求。
为尽快恢复合规，辽港股份正在推进多项措施，包括与主要H股股东群力国际有限公司、布罗德福国际有限公司及大连港集团有限公司保持沟通，探讨资本市场状况、公司股价表现及市场惯例，并与证券公司、法律顾问等专业机构讨论境内外有关股份发行或回购注销的法规与政策。
公司已就暂未符合最低公众持股量的情况向联交所咨询，并获同意在过渡期内继续维持上市地位。过渡期间，公司需持续推进合规方案，并按照上市规则第19A.28E条要求，每月发布进展公告，直至公众持股比例恢复至合规水平。
