金朝阳集团（股票代码：00878）公告，董事会已获得一般授权，允许在香港联合交易所有限公司主板回购公司已发行股份，规模最高可达已发行股份总数的10%。根据公告，截至最后可行日期，公司已发行约2.83亿股，授权回购数量上限约为2833万股。
公告指出，此次股份购回将依据百慕达法律及上市规则规定，通过公司可合法使用的资金进行。公司方面表示，如市况及财务状况许可，回购股份有望提升每股收益水平，并认为此举符合公司及股东的最大利益。
董事会强调，此次回购授权自2026年5月20日股东周年大会召开并通过相关决议后生效，直至下届股东周年大会结束或相关授权被撤销或修订之日止。公司将于5月15日至5月20日暂停办理股份过户登记，股东需在此之前完成过户方可出席并参与投票。公告亦提醒股东，可于法定期限内委派代表出席大会并行使表决权。
