8月18日，比特币概念股Terawulf盘初涨超16%，消息方面：公司宣布与谷歌达成重大合作，后者将提供14亿美元资金，支持其位于纽约州西部的 Lake Mariner 数据中心园区扩建项目。作为对价，谷歌将获得可认购 3,250万股 TeraWulf 普通股 的认股权证，若全部行权，其在公司持股比例或将升至 约14%。
此外，TeraWulf的租户、AI云平台 Fluidstack 已行使扩建选项，计划在园区新建一座名为 CB-5 的数据中心大楼，新增 160兆瓦 的关键IT负载，预计于 2026年下半年 投入运营。
TeraWulf还表示，谷歌此次追加担保后，Lake Mariner 项目的总担保金额将提升至 32亿美元。而CB-5 的租赁条款，与 Fluidstack 早前在 CB-3 和 CB-4 项目的合作条件保持一致。
此次合作预计将大幅提升 TeraWulf 在高性能计算及比特币挖矿基础设施领域的竞争力，消息推动公司股价大幅走高。
