On October 30, the results of the "2025 Forbes China Top 100 Most Influential Chinese Elites" were officially announced. Qi Xue, founding team member of Waterdrop Inc. (WDH.US) and Chairperson of Waterdrop Convergence Public Welfare Foundation, was included in the prestigious list.

Recognized as the "annual guide to Chinese elite leaders," the Forbes selection underwent months of rigorous evaluation. During the six-month application period, the organizing committee received hundreds of submissions, conducted online interviews with preliminary candidates, and comprehensively assessed their influence before finalizing the list. Compared with previous years, this year's honorees represent more specialized fields, higher internationalization levels, and broader cross-disciplinary dimensions.

Qi Xue's inclusion not only recognizes her personal achievements but also acknowledges Waterdrop Inc.'s accomplishments in insurance protection. As a 2016 co-founder, Qi has helped build Waterdrop into China's leading insurance and health service technology platform. The company's mission to "leverage internet technology to help the public access medical protection and safeguard hundreds of millions of families" has pioneered a new model combining "critical illness crowdfunding + personal insurance," advancing digitalization in insurance protection and critical illness assistance sectors.

In health services, Waterdrop actively explores and strengthens partnerships with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and other medical service providers to deliver broader healthcare solutions. Recently, the company has accelerated overseas market expansion. In 2023, it established Hong Kong-licensed brokerage firm Waterdrop Financial, offering professional insurance brokerage and wealth planning services including whole life, critical illness, medical, universal life, MPF, and investment-linked plans.

To support talent development, Waterdrop launched Mainland-Hong Kong Worry-Free, a one-stop lifestyle service platform providing identity planning, corporate globalization, children's education, and medical services. The platform has established five regional service centers across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, serving thousands of middle-class families.
