Shares of USA Rare Earth Inc. (USAR) surged 22.12% in Tuesday's trading session, following the company's announcement of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Enduro Pipeline Services and its plans to begin neo magnet production in early 2026.
The rare earth magnet company signed the MoU with Enduro Pipeline Services for the delivery of its neo magnets. Enduro's advanced pipeline pigs, also known as "intelligent pigs" or "smart pigs," use high-powered neodymium magnets to collect ferrous debris, detect defects, and track their location within pipelines. This agreement marks a significant step in USA Rare Earth's commercialization efforts.
Furthermore, USA Rare Earth revealed its intention to commence production of neo magnets in early 2026. The company stated that this agreement is the latest in a series commissioning its innovations lab in Stillwater, Oklahoma, which mimics the production capabilities of its future commercial manufacturing facility. Investors appear to be reacting positively to these developments, seeing potential for growth in the critical rare earth minerals sector, especially given the increasing focus on domestic sourcing of these materials in the United States.
