Asian Pay Television Trust (S7OU) announced on Oct, 30 2025 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Taiwan Broadband Communications Co. Ltd. (TBC), will issue 4.38 million new ordinary shares to DaDa Broadband Ltd. at NT$160 apiece.

The new shares represent 12.73 % of TBC’s enlarged share capital and will raise about 29 million Singapore dollars, which APTT will use entirely to repay on-shore borrowings.

Post-transaction, APTT’s effective equity interest in TBC will fall from 59.29 % to 51.74 %, but the trust will continue to receive 87.27 % of TBC’s economic interest under existing arrangements.

Debt repayment is expected to trim annual interest expense by roughly 1.0 million Singapore dollars and reduce the group’s net-debt-to-EBITDA ratio by 0.2 times.

Completion is targeted by Dec, 31 2025, pending Taiwanese regulatory approvals and lender consents. APTT’s 2025 distribution guidance of 1.05 Singapore cents per unit remains unchanged.
