有媒体援引知情人士透露， 百度 正在考虑将其在香港的上市地位升级为主要上市(primary listing)，以增加来自中国内地投资者的敞口，并为可能不利的美国政策提前做好防范。百度目前在纳斯达克上市，并在香港进行第二上市。
百度美股盘前快速拉升涨超2%。
这一安排提升了其在亚洲市场的可投资性，但由于尚未符合“沪深港通”资格，内地投资者仍无法直接参与交易。若转为主要上市，百度将有望符合跨境交易条件，从而打通内地资金流向香港的投资通道。
知情人士称，随着百度计划推动旗下从事数据中心及人工智能芯片业务的子公司昆仑芯上市，相关讨论已明显升温。
