Viettel Post, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Military Industry and Telecoms Group, officially commenced operations of its bonded warehouse in the Dong Dang口岸 economic zone of Lang Son province on the 14th. Strategically located as a key node on the Nanning (China) - Lang Son - Hanoi economic corridor, the facility is expected to address challenges related to cargo storage, transshipment, and customs clearance along the Vietnam-China trade route. It aims to create more favorable conditions for manufacturing enterprises and logistics service providers looking to expand their operations in the border region.

The Viettel Post bonded warehouse serves as the core infrastructure of the Viettel Logistics Park in Lang Son. The complex includes a 5,880-square-meter warehouse and an 8,700-square-meter bonded yard. Its proximity to the Huu Nghi Quan and Coc Nam border gates, combined with direct connections to the Hanoi-Lang Son Expressway and the China-Vietnam international railway, positions it as a strategic logistics transshipment hub between ASEAN and China. Import and export goods for both markets can be consolidated, processed, and distributed at this location.

Operations at the bonded warehouse are supported by a digital platform developed in-house by Viettel Post. The platform integrates Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and Order Management System (OMS), and is directly linked to the Vietnam Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System and the Vietnam Customs Information System (VNACCS/VCIS). Utilizing RFID gate systems, AI-powered smart cameras, and an Operational Command Center (OCC), the facility enables real-time monitoring of inventory, cargo flow, and customs clearance status. Beyond standard storage, the warehouse offers integrated, end-to-end cross-border logistics processing capabilities—including sorting, labeling, packing, inspection, and transport coordination—providing a comprehensive one-stop logistics solution. Through direct data integration with customs systems, the warehouse is projected to reduce processing time for fully documented shipments to under 30 minutes in the future.
