JY GAS (01407) announced that the company has been informed that its controlling shareholders LXL Phoenix Limited (LXL Phoenix) and SEGM Holding Limited (SEGM Holding) have pledged 185 million ordinary shares and 33 million ordinary shares of the company respectively (collectively referred to as the pledged shares) as collateral for financing provided by a Hong Kong financial institution (the lender, which is an independent third party to the company) to LXL Phoenix. As of the date of this announcement, both LXL Phoenix and SEGM Holding are wholly owned by the company's controlling shareholder, chairman, executive director and chief executive officer Luan Xiaolong.
