During the supervision, inspection teams visited the Longzheng Town Elderly Care Center, Dahua Town Health Center, and the Jingguan Guidu residential community, cross-checking the rectification status against a list provided by joint central-provincial supervision teams. They concentrated on issues frequently reported by the public in elderly care, medical insurance fund management, and property management. Elderly care services affect countless families and the well-being of the elderly. The county has been standardizing the elderly care service system, thoroughly reviewing and auditing aging-friendly renovation projects, and addressing gaps in key areas such as improving living environments, food and fire safety, and the distribution of care subsidies. This aims to strengthen both soft and hardware service shortcomings to ensure a safe and comfortable life for the elderly. Primary healthcare institutions are the frontline for protecting residents' health. In response to issues like outdated equipment and electrical hazards at some facilities, relevant departments have conducted comprehensive risk inspections and rectifications, optimized the allocation of medical staff, and standardized diagnostic practices. Industry regulators have stepped up enforcement, cracking down on excessive testing and over-treatment, which are widely criticized by the public, to safeguard the "lifeline funds" for medical treatment. Property services in residential communities directly affect daily life. Focusing on complaints about irregular management of special maintenance funds, untimely disclosure of community public earnings, and misuse of funds, local authorities and industry regulators have tightened responsibilities, launched self-inspections and special audits, and seriously dealt with violations such as embezzlement and misappropriation of funds. Each case is addressed upon discovery, while simultaneously establishing a long-term mechanism for property services to improve efficiency and respond to residents' demands with refined services.

Why a sustained and comprehensive approach is needed

As the campaign enters its second half, it must not only solve immediate problems but also delve into root causes to promote both symptom treatment and systemic cure. The county has clearly defined its path forward, intensifying efforts in four areas: problem rectification, case investigation, petition resolution, and the establishment of lasting mechanisms. Key sectors include rural collective "three resources" (assets, resources, funds) management, high-standard farmland construction, medical insurance fund supervision, and elderly care. The focus is on the urgent and difficult issues faced by the public, aiming to produce landmark results. All Party committees (including Party groups) at various levels must assume primary responsibility, while functional departments fulfill their regulatory duties, fully supporting the investigation of leads and the precise implementation of policies. The work on resolving long-standing petitions will continue, with mechanisms for leaders to personally handle cases, supervise specific issues, and conduct visits to receive complaints, promoting the local resolution of conflicts. Effective measures from the campaign will be systematically reviewed, and replicable governance experiences will be summarized to smoothly transition from short-term intensive efforts to normalized, long-term management.

Building a collaborative governance framework

Multi-party collaboration is essential to forge a unified governance structure across the county. The county continues to implement the "dual task force, dual leadership" working mechanism, strengthening grassroots organizational foundations, and utilizing the "public raises issues, departments respond, discipline inspection monitors, and society evaluates" model. Through the "seek help from discipline inspection, rely on organization for solutions" platform and the 12345 government service hotline, channels for public expression of demands are kept open. The implementation of pro-people policies, handling of public affairs, and progress in rectification are regularly disclosed, allowing the public to supervise and ensuring that the results of the campaign are visible and tangible, thereby building trust. The construction of work style is an ongoing process. An official from the Renshou County Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stated that, moving forward, the county will maintain a strict stance without wavering, adopt a systematic and comprehensive approach, closely monitor the operation of micro-power at the grassroots level, continue to correct various forms of misconduct, and strictly investigate corruption that harms the interests of the public. It will continuously improve oversight mechanisms at the source, ensure the integration of investigation and rectification, and the unification of prevention and treatment, transforming the outcomes of the campaign into long-term governance effectiveness. This will allow the public to genuinely feel that anti-corruption and integrity efforts are happening right beside them, constantly strengthening the foundation of grassroots governance.
