On September 20, reports emerged that late last evening, netizens took to social media to share that Aranya in Qinhuangdao experienced a sudden massive power outage, affecting multiple hotels within the resort and the main roads, which quickly sparked widespread discussion.
In response, our reporting team reached out to Aranya's official customer service last night under the guise of a consumer. The representative stated that the outage was caused by a fault in the external power lines outside the resort, leading to power cuts in certain areas. The power supply station and on-site staff were already working urgently on repairs.
A staff member from one of the Aranya hotels revealed to us, "Power wasn't fully restored until around 4 a.m. this morning." Another guest also posted on social media, saying, "The power at Aranya was out for roughly nine and a half hours, and it's finally fixed."
Additionally, a guest staying at the Aranya Anlan Hotel shared the specific solution offered by the hotel: "I booked for two nights. The front desk said they could refund the cost of both nights, or refund one night's fee and provide a room voucher that can be used before the end of the year."
Regarding a unified compensation policy from Aranya's official management, the customer service team told us today, "We have not yet received any specific compensation plan to pass along."
