On the occasion of Mother’s Day 2026, JD Health has collaborated with three compassionate brands—Winner Medical, Cofoe, and Chaoya—and joined forces with the Beijing Yuanmeng Public Welfare Foundation to launch the "Guard Her Forward" public welfare initiative. This campaign aims to care for the physiological health of rural women by donating 6,000 medical-grade sanitary pads, with a market value exceeding 120,000 yuan, to female teachers in Cuiping District, Yibin, Sichuan, and women in Ying'an Town, Jiang'an County. Through professional medical-grade care supplies, the initiative honors the dedication and contributions of rural women while reinforcing awareness of the medical-grade sanitary pad category and promoting the health concept that "medical-grade is safer."

Sanitary pads are a daily necessity for every woman, yet many rural women face a dilemma: low-priced sanitary pads on the market vary in quality, with potential safety hazards such as excessive bacterial counts and fluorescent agent residues. Meanwhile, higher-quality, higher-standard products are often priced higher, leading many to "hesitate to buy" or "dare not buy more." The topic of "bulk sanitary pads" once drew widespread attention online—100 pieces sold for only 21.99 yuan, lacking independent packaging, production dates, or hygiene standards. This is not an isolated case but a compromise forced upon some rural women in menstrual care. The public welfare initiative seeks to break this cycle, making high-quality medical-grade care more accessible.

The donated sanitary pads are all "medical device-grade" care products that meet high-standard requirements. Unlike ordinary sanitary pads, these products utilize ethylene oxide sterilization technology, ensuring completely sterile production and packaging with zero total bacterial count. They effectively reduce the risk of allergies and infections, precisely meeting rural women's core needs for safe and comfortable menstrual care.

The donated supplies, delivered accurately through the Beijing Yuanmeng Public Welfare Foundation, reach the assisted groups in Yibin, Sichuan. They primarily benefit female teachers who have long been dedicated to rural education and grassroots rural women, addressing their practical challenges in physiological health care and filling the gap in high-quality menstrual care resources in rural areas.

A representative from JD Health stated that the essence of Mother’s Day lies in "care and protection." Female teachers in rural areas dedicate themselves to education, while rural women contribute silently to their hometowns—their health deserves focused attention. Choosing to donate medical-grade sanitary pads not only provides practical protection for rural women's physiological health but also aims to strengthen awareness of the medical-grade sanitary pad category through public welfare efforts. This helps more consumers recognize that medical-grade represents a higher standard for sanitary pads, offering core advantages such as sterility, safety, and low irritation, thereby providing reliable protection for women's menstrual health.

In addition to this targeted donation, JD Health and its partner brands have launched a long-term public welfare plan: from May 9 to June 18, for every successful purchase of designated medical-grade sanitary pads in specified JD Health self-operated stores, JD Health and the brands will simultaneously donate one additional medical-grade sanitary pad for rural women. This creates a virtuous cycle of "consumption as public welfare," pooling public efforts to continuously safeguard the physiological health of rural women.

Looking ahead, JD Health will continue to focus on raising awareness of the medical-grade sanitary pad category. On one hand, it will collaborate with brands to refine product quality, promote knowledge about medical-grade care, and guide consumers to adopt scientific and safe care concepts. On the other hand, it will deepen public welfare initiatives for rural women's health, transforming short-term donations into long-term protection, using professional expertise and compassionate actions to safeguard the physiological health of every woman.
