TCL founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng stated that AI did not emerge from a vacuum, emphasizing that the digital systems enterprises have built over many years serve as the foundational infrastructure for implementing AI applications.

He outlined that TCL's AI application efforts are primarily concentrated in two major areas. The first involves integrating AI into advanced manufacturing systems, which has significantly boosted production efficiency, improved process quality, and greatly accelerated product development speed. The second focuses on constructing more efficient digital and intelligent systems through AI to comprehensively enhance corporate competitiveness. Furthermore, regarding end-user products, Li noted that with the proliferation of smart devices, the prospects for AI application are extremely broad.

Regarding the penetration of AI in daily business operations, Li candidly stated that AI has already permeated every aspect of enterprise management. As managers, discussions on business issues now inevitably touch upon the application of AI technology.

He stressed that digital systems are the essential infrastructure for deploying AI applications, asserting that "without a digital system, discussing AI application is like building a house on sand—it is not solid."

From a macro perspective on manufacturing, Li believes the primary value of AI lies in enhancing a company's innovation capabilities and competitiveness, as well as creating entirely new product forms such as robots. He predicts explosive growth for AI products in the future. Addressing the high investment pressure faced by small and medium-sized enterprises during AI transformation, he called on large corporations to not only develop their own AI capabilities but also to drive the entire industrial chain, including upstream and downstream partners, to collectively elevate AI application levels, achieving a mutually beneficial and win-win ecosystem.

On the topic of global AI governance and cooperation, Li pointed out that the worldwide application of AI technology requires concerted efforts from all nations to establish unified standards.
