** Canada's aviation sector is in talks for government bailout loans totalling as much as C$9 billion, according to Jerry Dias, head of the Unifor labour union.

** DeepGreen Metals Inc, a Vancouver-based producer of minerals used to make electric vehicle batteries, will join the New York Stock Exchange after being acquired by Sustainable Opportunities Acquisition Corp in a US$330-million deal.
