智通财经APP讯，节能元件(08231)公布，于2021年12月14日，该公司的间接全资附属广东普福斯节能元件有限公司(节能元件(广东))已向独立第三方上海胤登发出采购订单，以代价约人民币2564万元购买晶圆制造设备。
根据采购订单的付款条款，节能元件(广东)须于确认采购订单后的一星期内向上海胤登支付约人民币2300万元的不可退还订金，该订金乃根据一般商业条款订立，不附带利息或抵押品。
公告称，由于5G及人工智能运算设备的强劲增长，晶圆将继续供不应求。董事会预期，由COVID-19引致的全球半导体短缺可能将持续经年，原因是离散式功率半导体产能有限；及疫情带动电子产品的需求激增。因此，该集团的主要挑战是确保晶圆供应充足。自疫情爆发以来，全球晶圆一直供不应求，由该公司内部进行晶圆制作工序可缓解该公司对外购晶圆的依赖。因此，该集团拟于中国顺德厂兴建一座晶圆制造厂房。有关晶圆制造厂房将主要为该集团的MOSFET进行制作工序，预计将于2023年开始生产。
