Shares of CC Neuberger SPAC Drop 13% on Merger With Getty Images

Shares of special acquisition company CC Neuberger Principal Holdings II fell 13% to $8.45 on Wednesday after shareholders approved a merger with Getty Images.

The SPAC, which is formed through a partnership between CC Capital and Neuberger Berman, said Wednesday that the business combination is expected to close on Friday. The combined company will change its name to Getty Images Holdings Inc., and shares will trade on the New York Stock Exchange next Monday under the ticker GETY.

Shares of CC Neuberger Principal Holdings II were down 15% for the year.
