智通财经APP讯，新濠国际发展(00200)发布公告，于2022年8月18日，公司、新濠博亚娱乐(公司通过Melco Leisure间接拥有约55.86%权益的上市附属公司)及Melco Leisure(公司的全资附属公司)订立股份购回协议，新濠博亚娱乐同意向Melco Leisure购回999.58万股普通股及2500万股受限制美国预托股份(代表7500万股普通股)，占新濠博亚娱乐于本公布日期已发行股份总数约5.84%。
新濠博亚娱乐于交割时应就股份购回以现金支付的总代价为1.53亿美元，须减去新濠博亚娱乐因股份购回而取得的费用、成本及开支的金额。
紧接股份购回前，Melco Leisure持有的普通股及美国预托股份占新濠博亚娱乐已发行股份总数约55.86%。于股份购回交割及注销新濠博亚娱乐购回的若干购回股份后，Melco Leisure于新濠博亚娱乐的权益将减少至占新濠博亚娱乐已发行股份约50.36%。新濠博亚娱乐将继续是公司的附属公司，而新濠博亚娱乐的财务业绩将继续于公司的财务报表中综合入账。
