中关村在线消息：根据联发科官方发布的信息，2022年8月22日联发科在实验室环境中实现将智能手机接入5G非地面网络(NTN)，创下新的5G里程碑。MediaTek和罗德与施瓦茨公司合作，在低轨道（LEO）卫星信道上模拟向5G基站(gNB)进行数据传输测试，率先展示了基于5G智能手机硬件的卫星通信支持能力。

据了解，本次在在实验室中模拟高度为600公里、移动速度高达每小时27000公里的低轨（LEO）卫星进行通信。MediaTek无线通信系统发展本部总经理黄合淇表示：“作为5G移动通讯技术的领航者，MediaTek以客户需求出发抢先布局尖端技术研发，面向创新应用，持续取得技术突破。MediaTek本次成功验证了卫星网络在5G智能手机上的前瞻性和有效性，充分发挥5G万物互联的特性，助推5G NTN卫星网络的发展。”
