截至墨西哥当地时间9月24日早上8时，根据墨西哥国家地震监测局（SSN）的统计，在19日墨西哥西部米却肯州发生7.7级大地震后的5天时间内，共计记录到2030次余震，其中最强余震是22日凌晨1时16分发生的6.9级强余震。墨西哥国家地震监测局的专家指出，此次7.7级大地震后的余震可能会持续至少4个月的时间，理论上，余震的强度会逐渐减弱，余震之间的间隔会逐渐拉长。（总台记者 盛嘉迪 吕兴林）
