热CVD设备应用于半导体设备制造业薄膜沉积过程中，在该过程采用的产品中，发挥最关键的作用。根据市场研究机构资料，薄膜沉积设备占半导体设备总市场份额的18%，于2021年的全球规模逾170亿美元。随着芯片技术不断进步及芯片结构复杂化，薄膜沉积设备市场于2017年至2020年的复合年增长率达11.2%，预期将维持增长势头。作为最常用的薄膜沉积设备，CVD设备占薄膜沉积设备总市场份额的66%(即半导体设备总市场份额约10%)，于2021年的全球市场规模逾110亿美元。
