Provident Acquisition Corp. Down 16%; Touches 52-Week Low Friday

Provident Acquisition Corp. shares, which were never below $9.91 in September and most of October, according to FactSet, are down 16% at $7.81 Friday following an 8% decline Thursday.

Stockholders will vote Tuesday on the blank-check company's combination with Perfect Corp., which provides augmented reality and artificial intelligence software for the beauty and fashion industries.

The intraday low of $7.54 also marks a 52-week low.

Provident didn't appear to issue any securities filings or press releases Friday.
