智通财经APP获悉，加拿大监管机构可能会叫停力拓(RIO.US)收购Turquoise Hill(TRQ.US)。监管机构可能至少会推迟这笔交易，直到能够审查它。
安大略证券委员会表示，根据加拿大法律，力拓与一些持不同意见的Turquoise Hill股东达成的交易是非法的，他认为监管机构很有可能叫停这笔交易。
此前，Turquoise Hill的第二大股东Pentwater Capital和SailingStone Capital同意在下周二的股东会议上保留投票权，并同意进行异议程序。本周三，Turquoise Hill的一位股东批评了力拓与持不同政面者的协议，称这似乎是不公平的，因为它奖励了特定数量的股东。
据了解，持股人杰夫·班菲尔德是对冲基金Caravel Capital的合伙人，本周早些时候以公平为由向OSC提出了申诉。今年9月，力拓提出以每股43加元的价格收购Turquoise Hill约49%的股份，该公司及其附属公司尚未拥有这些股份。力拓在周二的声明中再次确认，43.00加元的报价是其最佳和最终报价。
