智通财经APP获悉，索尼(SONY.US)上月在美国的视频游戏硬件销售大幅增长，这是PlayStation 5游戏机供应改善的最新迹象。
根据NPD集团的数据，索尼11月在美国的游戏硬件销售额激增45%，达到13亿美元。在日本国内，该公司热销的游戏机现在可以从零售商那里以更少的先决条件购买，而二手商店向经销商提供的价格也更低。日本国内市场跟踪机构Famitsu也记录了PS5销量的上升。
NPD分析师Mat Piscatella表示，“11月份硬件表现强劲，主要是因为PlayStation 5的销量较去年同期大幅增长。”“PlayStation 5是11月最畅销的硬件平台，无论是销量还是美元销售额，而任天堂Switch在这两项指标上都排名第二。”
索尼在11月初表示，随着与新冠疫情相关的芯片和物流混乱的结束，PlayStation 5游戏机的短缺正在缓解。该公司CFO Hiroki Totoki在最近一次财报电话会议上表示，该公司正在以比原计划更快的速度组装机器，并将在年底购物季前增加生产。
自从PS5两年前发布以来，它的供应一直滞后于需求，直到现在它的供应才恢复正常。一些日本零售商现在无需商店发放的信用卡就可以处理游戏机的订单和购买。
日本最大的电子产品经销商之一Noah Shop将PS5的售价降至7.2万日元(合526美元)。这款游戏机在日本的官方零售价为49,478日元起。
