在这种情况下，索尼坐不住了，随后在官方指南中回复称，无论是横放还是竖放PS5，都不会存在问题。说白了，索尼官方直接否认了ILoveMyConsole的说法。看到官方发话，ILoveMyConsole的老板Ben Montana也坐不住了。

Ben Montana表示，其实这是一个误会，我们并没有说PS5不能长时间竖放，这只是翻译错误而已。只要是没有自行拆解过的PS5，不会出现竖放液金泄露。索尼对此进行过验证，并且耗时两年之久，用户完全不用担心。
