智通财经APP获悉，2023年6月8日(周四)，人人网(RENN.US)宣布将更名为Moatable, Inc.，并将其股票代码从RENN更改为MTBL，预计将于2023年6月22日生效。截至发稿，该股盘前涨5.51%，报1.34美元。
据了解，在5~7年的时间里，人人网出售了其SNS业务，剥离了二手车业务，并将业务重点转移到为BTB客户提供服务的垂直SaaS模式上。此前，该公司推出了更名和品牌重塑计划，以反映其商业模式从B2C互联网向垂直B2B SaaS的转变。
该公司首席财务官Chris Palmer补充称:“我们希望我们的投资组合公司是‘可交战的(moatable)’，这意味着它们有竞争护城河或保障措施，例如技术、网络效应、进入和退出壁垒、先发优势和规模经济。”
