NCR Atleos Sees Higher Withdrawals Near Taylor Swift Concerts -- Market Talk

1557 ET - The latest sign of Taylor Swift's boost to economic activity is from ATMs. NCR Atleos, the ATM-focused spinoff of NCR, sees a bump in demand from large events such as Taylor Swift concerts and major sporting events, says CEO Tim Oliver. The company, which will be officially spunoff at the close of business, sees a number of other factors affecting how much consumers use cash, including the state of the broader economy. Oliver says most of the company's ATM users make withdrawals regularly, such as near their workplace or where they shop. (ben.glickman@wsj.com; @benglickman)
