Sachem Capital Names Nicholas Marcello as Interim CFO

Sachem Capital said Nicholas Marcello has been named interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.

He succeeds the mortgage REIT's Chief Executive Officer, John Villano, who had previously also held the position of interim CFO.

Marcello will continue to oversee financial and capital markets activities, portfolio management and investment, foreclosures, workouts, legal, and human resources, Sachem Capital said.

Marcello began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and, prior to joining Sachem, served as vice president, assistant controller at Waypoint Real Estate Investments, Sachem said.
