Bentley Systems (BSY) said Monday that Nicholas Cumins became chief executive at the engineering software company, succeeding Greg Bentley, the eldest of five brothers who founded Bentley Systems.
Cumins has served as chief operating officer at Bentley Systems since January 2022 after joining the company as chief product officer roughly two years earlier, the company said.
Bentley has been company president since June 1996 and CEO since August 2000. The company announced the succession plan in March, with Bentley now becoming executive board chairman.
