Enphase Energy (ENPH) shares rose amid heavy trading following price target raises from analysts, likely prompted by the company's in-line Q3 revenue outlook.

Shares advanced more than 11% as intraday trading volume jumped to more than 10.2 million from a daily average of about 4.05 million.

Pieris Pharmaceuticals (PIRS) and Palvella Therapeutics said on Wednesday that they have agreed to merge in an all-stock transaction.

Shares of Pieris soared nearly 78% as intraday trading volume advanced to almost 5.28 million from a daily average of about 21,000.

Hoth Therapeutics (HOTH) said on Wednesday that it signed an agreement with LTS Therapy Systems to develop and manufacture an oral film prototype.

The company said the HT-ALZ prototype is under development as a novel therapeutic solution for Alzheimer's Disease based on preclinical results released earlier this year.

Shares jumped 4.9%, with intraday trading volume at nearly 32.1 million versus the stock's daily average of roughly 98,000.
